Weekly Economic Update: July 13th, 2020

• Bond yields remained constant over the week as the two-year and five-year Treasury notes both increased by one basis point to 0.17% and 0.31% respectively.

• As Covid-19 cases continue to surge across the United States, many states have reimposed lockdown restrictions, dampening the nascent recovery.

• The recovery to come is poised to become more difficult with out the advent of an effective treatment or vaccine, however progress is being made on that front and lawmakers are also discussing providing more stimulus to keep the recovery form faltering.
